I really wanted a retractable fishing pole. And After going through some other brands that always broke or did not work like they are supposed to. I looked on Amazon and found this pole. And I like to read reviews. And many of them were good so I gave it a shot.
So Far I have caught over 100 Crappie, around 30 trout, some smaller catfish. And then I went carp fishing to test it out. I caught a couple pretty decent ones. And then I was heading home over a bridge and decided to cast one more time. I landed a pretty big carp with no way to pull it up. because the fish was so big. So I fought it for almost 30 minutes, I was thinking about just cutting the line when 2 kids road up on bikes. And I was like HEY I NEED HELP!!!! Long story short they helped me catch the fish and they had a good time with it as well.
I am really impressed with this rod. I also had the reel as well and it seems of good quality! I will be buying more!
This was a 13 pound carp by the way!!!

First one broke, they sent me a new one, hope it works, July 2, 2016

This review is from: PLUSINNO® Telescopic Fishing Rod Retractable Fishing Pole Rods Saltwater Travel Spinning Fishing Rods Poles (Misc.)
Broke on my 2nd use, as soon as any tension was applied to the rod. Reeling in a 1/4 oz jighead, it got caught on a small branch (not even stuck to the bottom, just a slight moveable obstruction) and it snapped immediately. I have had $13 walmart telescopic sunfish poles withstand much more than this. From the other reviews I’ll assume they just aren’t too careful with their manufacturing, and I got one with a weak spot, but I would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

    UPDATE:
They contacted me and for the price of shipping sent me a new rod while I returned the old one for a refund, so I changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. If this rod lasts for a month I’ll give it 5 stars. I still have my doubts about the quality but their customer service was fast and friendly so I’m giving it a chance.

It has been great rod and has worked well for my many fishing …, October 3, 2016

I bought and tried this pole being a skeptic about it. I thought it might be cheap and break after a few uses. It has been great rod and has worked well for my many fishing trips both from the bank, boat and kayak. This rod is tough enough to pull my kayak along when I get the occasional lure hung in a tree. I use braided line so I purposefully put it to the test my pulling myself over to the tree or bank with the rod. I would buy this rod again in different sizes just to have it on hand. The smallest version is a little heavier than what you might think so if you are buying a pole for an ultralight situation you might consider another rod. If you want a good rod to use in the kayak or to throw in the trunk of you car this is not a bad pole to own. I think I got better than what I paid for.
