This was easy to install and works great. It is exactly like the picture. My only complaint (and reason for giving 4 vs. 5 stars) is the lack of directions. I had to lay it on the floor and grab some poles to make sure it would be spaced far enough apart. If you do the same, make sure you get your shortest AND longest poles to check it against. I thought it was obvious myself, but you also want to make sure you alternate the size of each opening—a big rung for the handle and reel and a smaller rung for the top end of the pole.

Good construction and should last a long time. Just would have liked some idea (maybe a few suggested measurements based on pole lengths) of how much clearance to give each rack against each other or the wall without discovering it on my own. Would definitely recommend.

I looked at a lot of fishing rod holders and finally ended up ordering this one. It works perfectly for storing all our rods in an out of the way place. I like the fact that you can leave the reels on the rods, hand them up and keep them not only out of the way, but free from damage. Much better than standing them in a corner in the garage or shed. Very glad I found this one.

Very good product but honestly overpriced. Not sure why people are complaining about no instructions. Not a lot of ways to mess up hanging these. About the only way you could get 12 poles up with this is if you took the reels off or did not mind having to fight them in and out. I am using it for 6 rods and reels.

Now as for size, each set of hooks is about 5″ apart. My line counter reels are all about 6″ wide. The six rods do fit nicely in the rack but you have to stagger the reels to make them fit. Still plenty easy to get them in and out. It is a pretty simple design but should last a lifetime. I mounted this rack over my boat so when I come home I don’t have to risk breaking rods as I take them out of the boat. I can just hang them up.
